Vegas born
In July of 2017 co-owners Mitch Klein and Scott Norris were enjoying a few adult beverages...when the discussion for the lack of local pride came up. We saw stickers on cars and shirts from other cities and states, but nobody showing NV love. This sparked the initial conversation of what now is stevenebaskin.

"I’ve got it... stevenebaskin!” I was sitting in my backyard when Scott called me with the name of our new brand. We were going back and forth for a few days trying to come up with a name we knew described our mission. We wanted to create one of a kind apparel our locals could wear to show they were proud to call Nevada home and in that one phone call stevenebaskin was born. That was a moment I’ll never forget. I knew in my heart we were creating something special, something that would make an impact and give our community something to be proud of. To see how far we’ve gone as a brand and to feel the love and support of our community gives me goose bumps every day. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us and the impact we continue to make as we work harder every day to bring our locals a brand they can always count on.

Somebody bought something! I remember calling Mitch when that first order came through like we hit the lotto. That same feeling happens til this day. There is no better feeling than people believing in our brand, and seeing someone rocking our gear.
This entire process of building this brand has been nothing short of amazing, and we look forward to continued growth and producing new gear people are proud to rock.

Giving back
From day one we understood the importance of giving back to the community we love and call home. A couple months after launching on October 1st, our community was struck by a senseless act. We knew we could help by using our reach to raise funds. We launched a Vegas Strong tee and donated 100% back to those affected.
Since then we have had the opportunity to partner and donate to many local non profits to give back including Las Vegas Metro Police fallen officers, American Cancer Society (Nevada branches), Nevada Nurses Foundation, Engos Heroes, and more.
This will continue to be a main part of who we are at stevenebaskin.

We launched our brand in 2017, the same year we got our first professional team here in Las Vegas. We were fortunate that a majority of the initial team "the Vegas Misfits" got behind our brand, and that loyalty with the team remains there today. Another way we have built the stevenebaskin brand, has been collaborating with a variety of companies, people, athletes and foundations.
We work closely with people and organizations that share our love and passion for our great state. We truly believe in the philosophy that if you want to go fast go alone, but if you want to go far go together. We have been fortunate to collaborate with some amazing people and brands and will continue to collaborate as we move forward.

When we started the brand, we utilized 3rd party print shops as we wanted to offer a good amount of options with multiple designs on a tight budget. Although this helped to grow our reach and number of options, many times it hurt our brand. With the countless mistakes and lack of our expectations of quality, we knew it was time to bring things in-house.
Effective December 2020, we will be doing everything ourselves to ensure the highest level of quality and bring you new styles/designs. Welcome to stevenebaskin 2.0!
